Happy Wedding Week to Emily!
Just kidding. You get a day. Not a week. One day.
Yeah, that's right. Shannon and I are going to turn your reception into a big birthday party for me. Because your day is on Thursday.

Countdown
Melissa demanded I help her find a countdown to Christmas, and after a couple of weird ones, I found this one:
But I made the mistake of showing Melissa where I got it, and she switched it to the one with kitties. Even though it doesn't look as cute.
But that's Melissa for you. If there's anything she likes better than Christmas, it's cats.

I'm a pie!
Humphry was being too sad the other day that I took away his way to the top shelves in my closet. He kept going in there and crying, while trying desperately to find another way up to the top. So I took pity and lifted him up. He was very happy and had a good time. For about 10 minutes, when he then started pushing boxes off the shelves so he would have more room to sleep.

Happy, happy birthday!!
To Holly!!
So, as requested, here is the schedule for your day.
11:00 am Wake up. No getting up earlier. If you are up before this, go back to bed right now.
I Said Now!!
11:15 am Brunch, bro style!! Or, girl style. Whichever.
12:00 pm Bookstore shopping. Nothing is more fun than shopping in a bookstore. Trust me on this one. Best Birthday Activity Ever!
2:00 pm Afternoon nap. You deserve it. Unless you are still in the bookstore. It's easy to lose track of time in there.
4:00 pm Walk barefoot in the park. But don't do it drunk. I think BYU frowns on that.
6:00 pm Dinner time! Make that pork chop, tortilla, and jam thing you seem to have a recipe for. That sounded good.
7:00 pm Cake!
7:30 pm Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants 2. See it. Then tell me if it's any good or not.

This is a draft I don't remember writing....
Fishlynn died, and Melissa didn't tell anyone.
But don't wory... she has a new fish now. A younger, friendlier fish.
She's *sob* replaced her...
Unfeeling

June Holidays
Guys, I was updating the links for June (they haven't been changed since April-- shame on who ever's in charge of that), and you would not believe how many delicious holidays there are in June!
June 1st: Donut Day
June 4th: Cheese Day
June 5th: National Gingerbread Day
June 6th: National Applesauce Cake Day
June 16th: National Fudge Day
June 20th: Ice Cream Soda Day
June 26th: National Chocolate Pudding Day
Not that I'm complaining, but who comes up with these? Is there any rhyme or reason to it?

Weekend
Things I did this weekend:
-Played four-square. Might actually be fun to play on occasion, but next time maybe we could use a standard-sized court.
-Locked a set of keys inside the car they belonged to. It was expensive to get them back out, but kind of cool to watch.
-Possibly saved my roommate and her boyfriends lives. Or at least spared them a headache. Walked into my apartment to find the stove was on, but not lit, and the air smelled very gas-y. They were cuddling on the couch and hadn't notcied the smell that was permiating the apartment.
-Made ice cream again with my ice cream maker. Best purchase ever!
-Made lots of salsa. My fingers are sort of burning from stripping the seeds out of the peppers, but is is so delicious that I don't even really care.

You really don't want pictures
Okay - so dad and Andy decided to cook last night. They were very excited to find three gallon size unmarked bags of hash browns in the freezer. So they melted half a stick of margarine into two of my best non-stick fry pans and proceeded to dump the first bag into the hot pans. They soon discovered that something was very wrong. Their solution was to dump the hot hash browns back into the zip loc bag, which promptly melted through the bag. They then returned it to the freezer. So those of you who are taking care of things here on May - Beware! What was it the guys were really trying to fry up in the pans you ask? It was my motzarella cheese!

This is NOT funny, Holly!
We got a package yesterday from Holly. When we opened it up, guess what we found? A DEAD PUPPY. The kids were so sad / freaked out about it, that Rich had to go buy a live puppy to get them to stop rolling around on the floor crying.
So now we have a puppy. Her name is Moldie.

Internet . . . I have missed you!
So I finally have internet again. It was quite the ordeal. Here is what I had to go through to get it.
1. I had to call and order it. This was much more difficult than you would think. The entire time I was on the phone, I had cats running in and out of blinds, making lots of noise. The girl kept saying my connection was bad because she couldn't hear me over them. I know it wasn't really my connection, because she heard me fine after I shoed away the cats finally.
2. I had to go to the Cox store to pick up the modem. There was only one other customer in the store and there were four employees, but the guy yelled at me and told me I had to get a number. It went like this: "You have to get a number, miss" I sheepishly pull out number 38. "Number 38 please!"
3. I installed everything myself. This wasn't too bad. Actually the easiest part. But then the internet just wouldn't work. I tried everything I could think of, but nothing.
4. I had to call technical assistance. I tried this Wednesday, but there was a really long wait time, so I decided to worry about it today. When I tried to call today, I could not get phone reception in my room. I tried to call several times and got disconnected. Then I moved it all out to the living room where my reception is better. I called, and the guy told me to unplug and replug in the modem. This is something I had tried several times, but I decided to do it anyway to humor him. And it worked! Right after that I could get to any website. I was starting to feel silly, thinking it would have worked all along, but for some reason I just couldn't get it to. Then he said the modem wasn't registered in my name, so he did that before he had me unplug it to reset it. So it wasn't something I could have done anyway.
5. Play on the internet. Since I haven't had internet at home for a while, I had to play. I had no choice.

All debts to be settled this weekend, so new ones can be established. (Poker night!)
Okay, I bought a ticket, so I'm totally coming! If anyone needs me to bring anything, let me know. I'm bringing HoHo for Shannon, and hopefully also all of your new clothes. (We can be matchy-matchy if we want! Which, of course, we do!) Anyway, we'll see you all on Saturday! Yay!

Sistership over!
Not one of you purchased a suit!
But you do all owe me money, except Emily, who can't be held responsible for me making purchases on her behalf... although one could construe telling me her size constitutes implicit permission to make purchases...
Anyway. Your debts are on the "You Owe Me" board. I've adjusted the price so that we all pay a proportionate share of the total shipping prices (according to the total of your purchase).

Layers
Layers just moved a bunch of stuff into clerance. There's pretty much no choice in color or sizes, but still. I might buy something, if any of you want, we could maybe bundle shipping... I'm not sure exactly how that would work, since I'm in Utah, but if I end up coming down there anytime soon.
Okay, whatever.
Okay, whatever.

Hawaii Trip
Okay, I know you all check in here. So here is the thinking. Holly thinks that it would work better for her if we went December 29th and came back January 2nd or 3rd. We would take a late night flight coming home. The other possibility would be January 5th and come back on the 9th. The only problem with the first dates is that a lot of things may be closed on the 1st and so we would not have much to do that day. I am thinking that this is not the year to try to include Crystal and she might like to go when Michael does and with Valani it may be better to wait a little bit longer for her. So What do you all think. We will need to get two hotel rooms at around $120 a night. I could cover one room but two may be stretching my budget a little. So let me know what you all are thinking and please be serious about this.
Richard's job status
So poor Richard went in to do his paperwork and the manager had gone home sick. Richard went back today and before they would hire him he had to make another stop at Sonora Quest Labs. Ask him what he had to do with the cup they gave him. He doesn't know when his first work shift will be.

Under my Refridgerator
So, Humphry lost one of his toys under the fridge and he kept crying about it, so I got something to pull it out. These are all the things that I found under there:
10 Pushpins
Seam Ripper
2 Bobbypins
Pair of Earrings
2 Rings
Nail Clippers
2 Magnets
Colored Pencil
14 Hair Ties
2 Rolos
3 Starbursts
2 Toy Mice
A Lot of Miscellaneous Trash
I have been looking for some of this stuff for a long time! Those cats are in so much trouble. I am definately eating one of their Fancy Feasts in front of them to teach them a lesson.

Humphry's Dream
As I'm sure you all know, it has been Humphry's life-long dream to use a new box of fresh kitty litter as his litter box.
Well, today, he fulfilled that dream.

What's up with IM and email?
Okay so now that we are into a new year I'm once again confused. Every time I open IM it shows that there is no one on line. Also everytime I send emails to Melissa at her gmail account she is apparently not getting them. Anyone know what I am doing wrong or are you all just hiding from me as ususal? In case you all didn't get the word Michael was able to take Crystal and Valani home. We hope they continue to improve and all will be well.
