In Memorium
It is with deepest regret that I announce the passing of Black Sleeping Beauty, the fish. She (or whatever) lived in our house for a record 8 days. I even remembered to feed her. I'm thinking it was the water. Either it was too cool or too ditry (wow that little tank got cloudy fast). I was just going to change the water when I noticed Beauty taking a nap on the rocks. They looked all comfy. We held a wake, just in case, but Beauty went to the great fishbowl in the sky this morning.

Are you sure she didn't just go to that lake next to the farm? Where all the fish can swim around all day and chase worms?
Fish don't like worms... do they?
Also, 8 days! Congrats!
It's possible. Maybe she was just sad because her tank was so small, so we sent her to live in the nice big lake by the farm...
If they don't like worms...then why on earth to they chase them? Because they like shiny hooks?
Maybe she was just pretending to be dead so you would flush her. My fish do that all the time, but I know better and I just leave them there.
Maybe she just wanted to go to the ocean.
