Faking?

Sarah was up all night being sick, a phrase which here means "throwing up on her bed and mine." Of course, this morning, she's eating and apparently feeling fine...after I called to say she wouldn't be at preschool. Do I have a mini-faker on my hands? It seemed pretty authentic to me...

throwing up = (a) not faking or (b) desperate enough that you should just let them get away with it

I don't know. Kids these days can learn how to do things pretty easily. Has she visited any "Get out of school" websites recently?
